Tumakuru: A PWD contractor allegedly ended his life in a hotel in the Devarayanadurga Hills near Tumakuru, owing to debt.
The deceased has been identified as T. N. Prasad (53), a resident of Saptagiri Layout.
According to sources, he was found hanging at the tourism guesthouse. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
In his death note, he states that no one is responsible for his death.
He had implemented PWD projects that he had in turn taken from Radheshyam, another Class I contractor. Recently, Prasad sold his home.
