Tumakuru: There was a great demand for the development of roads in Dibbur, which is an important area of the City. MLA G. B. Jyothi Ganesh said that the picture of Dibbur will change in the next 3 to 4 months.
Speaking after inaugurating the asphalting work for about 2.08 kms worth Rs. 309 Lakh, he said, “Earlier, there used to be a taunt about Dibbur. But now it’s a finished chapter. He assured that within the next 3 to 4 months, the people of this ward will get the necessary amenities including roads and drains and the face of Dibbur will change.
“When it rained in this part, water flowed like a river on the road. Movement of people from Dibbur Circle to Siragate was disrupted, he said . Keeping this in mind, the Smart City project and road as well as drainage works have been taken up by the PWD Department,” he explained.
