Tumakuru: Former MP from Tumakuru SP Muddahanumegowda, who won amid Modi wave in the State in the 2014 assembly election is all set to join BJP
He was in Congress and it is said that he is upset with Congress since 2019 after party denied him a ticket from Tumakuru Lok Sabha Constituency to accommodate JD (S) Supremo H. D. Deve Gowda as part of alliance decision between JD (S) and Congress.
Muddahanumegowda is eyeing an Assembly ticket in 2023 from Kunigal. He is one of the prominent Vokkaliga community leaders of the State. His induction expected to give BJP much needed fire power in the Bengaluru Rural Lok Sabha area.
