Tumakuru: MLA G. B. Jyothi Ganesh inaugurated the ‘Namma Clinic’ sanctioned by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the State Government at Sathyamangala Village in the City.
Speaking after inaugurating the Sathyamangala Namma Clinic, MLA G. B. Jyothi Ganesh said, “Along with Primary Health Centres, if our clinics work properly, people will have access to health services at their doorsteps. It is for this purpose that the Government has announced our clinic service. Our clinic is being spent at a cost of around Rs. 2.5 Lakh every month in which primary services will be made available. Sathyamangala Namma Clinic will benefit many villages including Sathyamangala, Naviluhalli, Jagannathapura, Puttaswamayyyapalya, Shiragate etc. She advised people to get more health care from the Government by registering their names for the Ayushman Bharat Card.”
Tumakuru Deputy Mayor T. K. Narasimhamurthy said that the MLAs worked very hard to get 7 of the 10 Namma Clinic sanctioned for the District. Earlier, the people of Sathyamangala area had also taken Shiragate PHC for minor treatments. Otherwise, I had to go to a big hospital. Sathyamangala Namma Clinic will provide health care to the people of this area at their doorsteps,” he noted.
He said he would congratulate the MLAs on behalf of the corporation for this.
