Tumakuru: Gubbi MLA S. R. Srinivas insulted the Ahinda community by calling the Congress party a ‘nest of 12,000 votes’. Congress Leader G. S. Prasanna Kumar alleged that Srinivas is anti-Veerashaiva-Lingayat community by adopting a divide and rule policy.
Addressing a press conference after releasing a poster of Hattu Taleya Ravana at the Congress office in Gubbi of the District, he said, “We are working to build a Congress nest. You are the one who won independently. You should stand as an independent candidate once again. You are a politician without efficiency and commitment, having taken a defective stand in the lust for power,” he said.
“You who do not have individuality are looking for a nest for the sake of power, you are always talking about strength,” he said.
