Tumakuru: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Y. S. Patil has urged all voters to cast their votes on the polling day on May 10 as per the wishes of the Election Commission of India.
The District Administration, Zilla Panchayat and SVEEP had organised an awareness programme among voters about voting near Ramadevarabetta under Maidala Gram Panchayat limits on Sunday April 2.
Speaking at the event, he said, “Tourist places in the District are identified on the basis of mythological, and historical places. He said that the places have been developed by the Tourism Department to create awareness among the public by maintaining cleanliness in order to save the tourist spots.”
“Similarly the voters are made aware about voting in the general Assembly elections to be held on May 10,” he noted.
