Bengaluru: Turncoat MLA Mahesh Kumatahalli, who switched from Congress to BJP and was reelected on a BJP ticket from Athani constituency declined to accept MSIL chairman post.
Kumatahalli, who was denied minister post was offered MSIL post by CM BS Yediyurappa. But he declined to accept this officer saying it is an insignificant corporation.
“I am an engineer. I shall get a good post. I will not accept this post. I will talk to CM BS Yediyurappa in this regard,” he stated.
Meanwhile, BJP leaders informed that they are confident of convincing Mahesh. “Major irrigation minister Ramesh Jarakiholi has been given the task of convincing him,” said a BJP leader.
Meanwhile, Dr. K Sudhakar, another turncoat MLA expressed displeasure over the department he is allocated.
um”I was expecting any heavy weight department. But I am given a low profile medical education department. I didn’t expect this,” he stated.
