Two arrested for flesh trade in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: The women and narcotics wing of Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested two persons on charges of flesh trade in Bengaluru. The CCB police raided a house on 2nd Main Road, Ittamadu, Banashankari 3rd stage in Chennammakere Achchukattu police station limits after getting a tip-off about a prostitution racket.

The police have identified the arrested persons as Mangala alias Sudha (45) of Ittamadu, and Dayanand (29), a client who hails from Perdoor in Udupi taluk. The police have recovered two mobile phones and Rs 13,000 and 12 condoms of Moods brand from the arrested persons and rescued two girls from Hassan and Shivamogga districts during the raid.

The police said the accused Mangala used to bring girls from other districts by promising jobs. Later, she compels the girls into prostitution.
