Bengaluru: A 24-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by jumping off a building in Seegehalli in Kadugodi in Bengaluru on November 6.
Vineeth Poornachandra, a resident of Jeevan Bhimanagar is the deceased. He said to have lost his mother to cancer recenlty and the funeral was scheduled to be held today. Vineeth, who was unable to bear this loss and was visibly disturbed, had gone to visit his friend at his house in Seegehalli. But instead of meeting his friend, he is said to have gone directly to the 15th floor of the building and jumped to his death.
Kadugodi police rushed to the spot and are further investigating.
Vineeth’s death has come as a terrible shock to the family as they were still grieving over the death of one member of the family before another member took the extreme step. Vineeth was upset since his mother was hospitalized and stopped responding to treatments.
