Bengaluru: Continuing his attacks on the government for bringing the Padarayanapura riot accused to the Ramanagar jail, former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy, on Friday, said that a ‘Tuglak Government’ is in place in Karnataka.
Speaking to reporters, he said that the very act of moving the Padarayanapura riot accused into the Ramanagar jail shows how careless and ignorant the state government is.
It can be recalled that five of the over 50 accused, who were sent to the Ramanagr jail, have tested positive for COVID-19.
“The government itself has tried to hush up the test reports of three, fearing a backlash,” said HDK and alleged that the government is making money out of the entire COVID crisis.
“I will expose this government and the means through which it has been gobbling huge sums of money in the name of the Corona crisis,” he added.
