A woman has accused two men of gang raping her at a friend’s residence in Sai Layout, Doddanagamangala, under Parappana Agrahara Police limits.
According to her complaint, the incident took place three days ago but was reported recently. The woman said while she was visiting her friend, two men forcibly entered, threatened her against informing police, and sexually assaulted her.
She further alleged the suspects extorted money by forcing her to transfer funds from her friend’s bank account, which they later moved to a betting app.
Additionally, the accused reportedly stole two mobile phones, a refrigerator, and a washing machine, claiming the items would repay a loan.
Parappana Agrahara Police have detained three suspects identified through CCTV evidence.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East) Sarah Fatima confirmed, “A case has been registered based on the victim’s allegations. We are interrogating the suspects and verifying the sequence of events.”
The investigation is ongoing.
