Bengaluru: A writ petition has been filed in the state’s high court against the government’s move of conducting Actor Ambareesh’ funeral at the Kanteerava studio.
This was filed by RLN Murthy, who is a high court lawyer. He has laso written a letter to Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and the Governor of the state with regards to the matter.
In the letter he mentioned that the Kanteerava studio was meant for shooting films and not for holding funerals even if it were of actors.
Actor Dr Rajkumar and his wife Parvathamma Rajkumar were cremated here earlier.
