Bengaluru: The Yelahanka residents expressed their anguish over the opening of an emergency Coronavirus centre in the BSF camp. They urged the central government to shut the same immediately. But state health department authorities informed that there are no such centres.
According to the locals, an emergency quarantine centre for those who arrive at KIAL with Coronavirus symptoms has been set up at Yelahanka. But the state health department authorities denied this allegation and informed that it is only a rumour, which is causing all the confusions.
According to the locals and various Kannada organisations, it is unethical to open such a centre without consulting with them. They decided to hold a protest. Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) Narayana Gowda faction has made it clear that no such centre will be allowed to function in the city.
