Bengaluru: A person from the city was arrested for having four marriages and cheating 20 girls mostly widows and divorcees using matrimonial sites. Police recovered a large volume of ornaments from him.
The arrested has been identified as Suresha alias Byadarahalli Suresh alias Mysore Suresh. He was arrested by the Bydarahalli police based on complaints of several victims.
According to the police, Suresh used to approach those who had registered themselves on various matrimonial sites. After gaining their confidence and to convenience them to marry him, he used to ask them for money which saying for his urgent needs. Police said, that the number of victims of his mode of operation could be much more than what is known at present. “An investigation is underway,” said the police.
