In a heartbreaking road accident, a young engineer lost his life after his bike crashed into a stationary lorry in Chamarajanagar district, Karnataka. The incident took place on the Agar-Mamballi road on Monday evening, sending shockwaves through the local community.

The deceased has been identified as Dhanush, a resident of Uppara Mole block in Kollegal town. A promising young professional, Dhanush was working as an engineer in Bengaluru and was reportedly traveling to Maddur to visit his grandmother when the accident occurred.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Dhanush, who was riding alone, might not have noticed the parked lorry in time due to poor visibility or inadequate roadside warnings. His two-wheeler collided head-on with the lorry, which was allegedly stationed without hazard indicators. The impact was so severe that Dhanush died on the spot before any help could reach.

Upon receiving information, the Mamballi police rushed to the scene. They conducted a spot inspection and registered a case under relevant sections of the Motor Vehicles Act. The body was later shifted for postmortem, and the family was notified.

Locals have raised concerns over unsafe parking practices and lack of proper lighting or signage on certain stretches of the road, urging authorities to take action to prevent further tragedies.

The untimely death of Dhanush has left his family and friends devastated, especially given his young age and the potential future he held.
