Woman’s Body Found Buried with Hand Exposed, Witchcraft Suspected
A shocking and mysterious incident has gripped the village of Hale Hampapura, where the partially buried body of a woman was discovered with one hand sticking out of the ground, sending shockwaves through the community.
The villagers stumbled upon the scene on Thursday and immediately alerted authorities. Around the body, turmeric and saffron powder were scattered—elements that have led police to consider the possibility of ritualistic practices or witchcraft.
The deceased is believed to be a woman around 35 years old. Her arm appeared broken, adding to suspicions of foul play. The body was exhumed and shifted to Chamarajanagar SIMS Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Superintendent of Police Dr. Kavita personally visited the site and conducted a preliminary inspection. Investigators are currently trying to determine whether the case involves homicide, superstition-related crime, or an attempt to conceal a death under suspicious circumstances.
A case has been officially registered at the Kollegal Rural Police Station, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities have assured the public that all angles, including occult involvement, are being thoroughly examined to uncover the truth behind the chilling discovery.
