It’s that time of the year, and while ministers gear up for the Lok Sabha polls and the BBMP elections, state CM Siddaramaiah is all set to give us a record of the year’s budget, this one being the fifteenth, as the finance minister.
The budget, which stood at 3.27 lakh crores in the last year, has shown a significant improvement, going up to 3.80 lakhs in this year.
However, the pressure is now on the CM to look beyond the five guarantees for asset creation and infrastructure development. He will now have to set aside an amount of 55,00 crores, besides presenting the five schemes in the best way possible so as to get the best out of the Lok Sabha polls.
Along with that, the CM will also be announcing some new policies to attract investments from different sectors. And with all that, one cannot leave out the deputy CM’s Brand Bengaluru initiative that everyone is looking forward to seeing this year in the budget.
