Karawar: A forest watcher was charred to death after coming into contact with high-tension wire while trying to douse a forest fire near Telangara in Yallapur Taluk of the District.
The deceased has been identified as Juja Siddhi. Juja Siddhi had gone to douse the fire as the forest had caught fire. Not knowing that the fire was caused by a high tension wire that had fallen off, Jhooja Siddhi went to the forest to douse the fire.
However, it is learnt that the forest watcher was burnt to death after trampling on a broken wire.
