Karwar: Padma Shri Tulsi Gowda of Ankola taluk, has received another honour. She will be awarded honorary doctorate degree from the Agricultural University, Dharawad. Tulsi Gowda of Honnalli hailing from Uluvare in Ankola Taluk has been invited by the Dharawad Agricultural University on Friday June 10.
Thawarachand Gehlot, Honourable Governor of Karnataka State and Chancellor of Agricultural University, has approved awarding an honorary doctorate to Tulsi Gowda on the occasion of the 36th convocation of Agricultural University in consideration of her services rendered in the field of agriculture.
Padma Shri Tulsi Gowda will be awarded an honorary doctorate at a convocation programme to be held at the Farmers’ Development Centre of Dharawad Agricultural University at 11.00 am on June 12.
