Karwar: MLA Satish Sail inaugurated the flyover and tunnel traffic in the city in connection with the four-lane national highway work.
Speaking on this occasion, MLA Satish Sail The national highway work carried out by the IRB company is going on here and there.I will suggest to the IRB officials to speed up the remaining works of National Highway 66 by holding a meeting with the DC in this regard.
The flyover and tunnel work were to be completed in May itself. But it is delayed due to slow work of IRB. We will instruct the authorities to complete the remaining highway works in the constituency as soon as possible. IRB is not paying minimum wages to the labourers working at highway tolls.
Therefore, the DC should hold a meeting with the IRB officials and take an appropriate decision in this regard. DC Prabhulinga Kavalikatti said that flyover and tunnel were inaugurated. He said that the public should give more priority to safe traffic.
