Karwar: Home Minister Araga Jnanendra has said that there is pressure to allow inter-district police transfers to those who are in need.
Speaking to mediapersons here he said that Belagavi, Kalaburagi and Raichur Districts have a large number of people in the Police Department. Some have joined the Police Department in the district where the number was less. The Government had decided to drop the inter-district transfer as the Police force should be equal in all Districts. However, it has been noticed that ex-servicemen, father, mother, wife, and husband are facing problems. There is a thought that the problem of such people should be solved, he said.
He added, “as the problems faced by the family members due to transfer restrictions need to be addressed. We are thinking about this as well.”
