Karwar: Uttara Kannada Lok Sabha candidate Anand Asnotikar, the coalition party candidate from JD(S ) said that he would win the Lok Sabha elections with a margin of 4.5 lakh votes.
He spoke to the media persons after casting his vote at St Michael’s school, Karwar and expressed his confidence in winning the Lok Sabha seat.
Asnotikar said that the coalition candidates have received a good response from the people including coastal Uttara Kannada and Kittur Khanapura of Belagavi district. Anant Kumar Hegade had not done any developmental work in the constituency and thus his defeat was confirmed. The polling was good in the district which would result in the increase of the polling percentage.
