Kannada film industry’s popular leading producer C R Manohar had a great escape from the serial bomb explosions in Sri Lanka that took the lives of hundreds and injured many more. The bomb blasts occurred in Sri Lanka’s Colombo on Sunday, April 21 morning. Some of the dead include several Indians who were on tour in the island nation.
Manohar was lodging at the Taj Hotel in Sri Lanka when the incident occurred. Luckily, he returned to India unscathed. Tamil actress Radikaa Saratkumar, who was also in Sri Lanka, is also a lucky survivor of the bomb blasts. She was staying at the Cinnamon Hotel which was one of the targets of the bombers. The hotel exploded after she left the premises.
C R Manohar is a member of the Legislative Council and a film producer. He has produced films such as Shivrajkumar and Sudeep-starrer “The Villain”.
