Kasaragod: Six persons including the contractor were arrested by Manjeshwar police after the tent collapsed at the Sub-District Science Exhibition on Friday October 21.
Gokuldas, Ahmed Ali A. P., Abdul Basheer, Abdul Shameel, Ilyas Mohammed, and Ashraf were arrested by the Manjeshwar police and booked under various provisions of the law.
Over 59 people were injured during the science fair that was held on Friday at the Bekur Government Higher Secondary School premises.
As many as 15 of the injured are still getting treatment at hospitals in Kasaragod and Mangaluru.
The Kerala government ordered an investigation into the accident shortly after the incident.
