Kasaragod: Manjeshwara Police have seized ganja transporting from Karnataka to Uppala in an autorickshaw and arrested two residents of Bantwal.
The arrested have been identified as Muhammed Imtiyaz (38) and Muhammed Junaid (29), both residents of B. C. Road in Bantwal.
Two-and-a-half kilograms of ganja was seized from them. The ganja was found on the night of Sunday April 9 when an autorickshaw coming from Manjeshwara Kedambadi side to Kunjathoor was stopped and checked. The arrested have confessed of transporting the same towards Uppala.
