Kundapur: Students and parents protests against the transfer of physical education teachers at Government Higher Primary Hosadu School of  Byndoor taluk due to an increment. The SDMC and villagers of Hosadu School submitted a memorandum to Shimoga MP B Y Raghavendra and Byndoor MLA Gururaj Gantihole in Hemmadi on Friday, condemning the transfer and demanding the re-appointment of teachers.

Government Higher Primary Hosadu School offers education from 1st to 8th grade. Currently, there are 55 students enrolled in the school. The school has two government teachers and one guest teacher. There is a shortage of two teachers, including GPT teachers. The transfer of physical education teachers, despite the shortage of teachers, has led to protests by parents, who are now demanding the hiring of new teachers. During the event, the president of the school’s SDMC, Rekha Ganesh, along with Vishwanath Shetty, Suresh Shettigar, Santhosh Mogaveera, Nagarathna, and others were present.
