Mangaluru: The A J Hospital and Research Centre has set up a department exclusively for the treatment of children suffering from heart related diseases. This department has well trained paediatric cardiologists and paediatric cardiological surgery specialists. Treatment of simple heart problems by pinhole surgery and complicated heart problems by open heart surgery has been regularly taking place in A J Hospital.
Now a free health check camp for children’s heart disease will be conducted by A J Hospital and Research Centre’s Out Patient Department, on Tuesday, May 28. Free medical consultation will be provided in the camp. Also echocardiography can be availed at 50 percent discount. Children who need further treatment will be provided with the same at discounted rates. Paediatric Cardiologist Dr. Prem Alva will be available during the health check camp.
