Mangalore: The city based A J Hospital and Research Institute has acquired new elastography technology developed Philips IU 22 ultrasound equipments. A workshop on this facility will be held at A J Hospital and Research Institute here on Sunday September 8.
Dr Nitin Chubal from Mumbai will deliver a lecture on the above facilities, said A J Hospital medical superintendent Dr Prashant Marla.
Addressing the media persons, Dr Marla said that the professional surgeons and postgraduates from Karnataka and Kerala will attend the workshop.The facility will enable to identify the tumors in the body.It would pinpoint damages to uterus canal and prostates,liver, added Dr Marla.
A J Hospital Dr Ganesh, Dr Ravindra and PRO Bhaskar Aras were present at the press meet.
