Yet Another Road Accident by a Reckless Driver

This on a Sunday

Balthangady There is no dearth of incidents to caution drivers against reckless driving, and yet we see another case with a bus having run over another poor victim here in Belthangady, taking her life in the process.

What’s worse is that the incident took place at around four in the evening on a Sunday, leaving us wondering where the driver was rushing to go so much that he ran into a building and even destroyed an electric pole.

While the building can be repaired, and so too the pole, the saddest lost in the whole incident here is that of Kittu, a resident of Ujire, who for his family, surely cannot be replaced.

Little did he expect to meet his end as he stood on the roadside near the Gandhinagar turn that day.

Now, if this was the situation on a quiet Sunday, one can only imagine what more to expect from the roads on the peak hours of a busy day.
