Mangaluru: St. Aloysius College (Autonomous) will be starting a new Masters programma in Big Data Analytics from 2018.
The college has been approved by Mangalore University to start two year Master’s programme in Big Data Analytics. The MSc (Big Data Analytics) programme will commence from July 2018 at the AIMIT campus of St. Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangalore.
St. Aloysius College (Autonomous) will be one of the few colleges in Karnataka to offer this PG programme which will prepare students for careers in Data Analytics.
The MSc (Big Data Analytics) programme is designed to provide students with a comprehensive foundation for applying statistical methods to solve real-world problems. They will have a broad knowledge of the application of statistical tools, techniques and methods, as well as the ability to conduct in-depth analysis, synthesis, and evaluation.
The programme equips students with the skill and relevant competence to handle all practical problems faced by the industry, and will produce leaders for the IT and Big Data industry. It also prepares students for advanced study in areas of their interest.
