Bantawala: In a shocking incident, a man stabbed his wife and father-in-law to death over a family dispute at Thumbay junction under Bantawala Rural police station limits.
On June 15, around 10.30 pm, when Rajeev and his daughter Divya, residents of Thumbay, were on their way to Bantawala in an auto-rickshaw, Divya’s husband Kumar stopped the auto at Thumbay junction and tried to stab his wife Divya.
Rajiv and Divya were seriously injured and were rushed to Thumbay Hospital after a scuffle broke out between them. Auto driver Yashodhara has lodged a complaint with Bantawala rural police station about the incident. The incident is said to have taken place due to a family dispute.
