Beef found at temple premises, case filed

Belthangady: A complaint was filed at the town police station after bones and pieces of beef, skull of cow were found near Bangadi Lord Veerabhadra temple in Indabettu village on Sunday, November 6.

The residents in the village have alleged in their complaint that it’s the work of some miscreants as the area has many Hindu and Muslim families. The complainants have requested police to take this matter seriously so that such do not get repeated. According to sources, the items are said to be thrown on Saturday night.

Sub-inspector Ravi had a look at the area. He along with his team took the necessary action to avert any major incident. The case has been filed and investigation is on.
