Ullal: BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa visited the residence of Karthik, a local youth who was recently hacked to death by misccreants in Ullal.

Speaking to reporters later, Yeddyurappa said that the police and the government have showed their inefficiency is handling these kinds of cases of murder of the innocent and hence such cases are on the rise.

Warning of a severe protest against the government and the police if such killings are not stopped in the state, the former chief minister said that he has had a discussion with the local MP and BJP leaders and a call on protest will be taken soon.

Speaking to BSY, Karthik’s mother said that Karthik had just found a new job and the day before his death, he had given his first salary to her. “Even before he could enjoy the fruits of his hard work he was killed,” said the mother fighting back her tears.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLC Ganesh Karnik among others were present.
