Kasargod: A 32-year-old youth succumbed to his injuries in a hit-and-run case here near Chervatturu check post late Tuesday, September 19 night.
The deceased, Prakash Kuttamat was working as a reporter with a private channel here.
Reportedly he was returning after covering a function when a car collided against his bike near Chervatturu check post resulting in serious head injuries to him. The car it is gathered sped away from the accident spot.
Though Kuttamat was rushed to a hospital he succumbed to his injuries on the way.
A case has been registered at Chandera police station
