A delegation of Congress leaders, headed by DCC president K Harish Kumar, has approached Dakshina Kannada Superintendent of Police Ryshyanth CB, urging for an unbiased investigation into the tragic deaths of three men. Their charred remains were discovered inside a burnt car in a village in Tumakuru recently.

Harish Kumar asserted that miscreants lured the three youths to Tumakuru under false pretenses and subsequently murdered them for personal gain. Despite initial reports suggesting that the victims lost Rs 6 lakh, their families allege that the miscreants looted an amount ranging from Rs 60 lakh to Rs 1 crore from them. Therefore, he emphasized the necessity for an impartial investigation to uncover the truth.

Moreover, Harish Kumar stressed the importance of bringing all those responsible for the incident to justice, ensuring that the families of the three victims receive the justice they deserve. The DCC has also reached out to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Home Minister G Parameshwara, requesting a CID probe into the deaths of the youths.
