Kasargod: In a tragic incident, four members of a family, including two children were found hanging at their residence on Thursday (May 3) night at Mottakunja, near Adoor in Kasargod.
Radhakrishna (44), his wife Prasida (35), Kashinath (5) and Sabarinath (3) are the deceased.
Locals nearby had last seen the children playing in the compound of their home around 6 pm. However, they grew suspicious when they did not see any lights at home later during the night. When they did not get any response on knocking the door, which was locked from inside the locals informed the police.
It is suspected that the couple may have committed suicide after murdering the children. However reasons behind them resorting to this step are not yet known.
A case has been registered at Adoor police station and investigations are on.
