Kasargod: A 18-year-old youth was arrested by the Pothukal police, on Wednesday for allegedly using the social media platform to post hate messages against PM Modi.
Shahul Hameed, from Perumanna in Kozhikode district is the arrested.
The accused, in a Whatsapp post on April 22 had circulated a message in a group named ‘Voice of Youth’ calling for killing of PM Modi. He had even posted Modi’s image.
Meanwhile, the police are further investigating the case to see if the accused has any links to a organisation.
