Mangaluru: In an instance of daylight burglary, a person who posed as a customer tried to decamp with gold jewellery from a showroom in the heart of the city on Thursday, March 4.
This incident was reported from Arun G. Shet Jewels and Diamond Works, Car Street here at 2 p.m. The miscreant who came into the shop on the pretext of buying gold Jewellery committed the theft and tried to decamp with the loot. However, the shop owner alerted the public and the miscreant was caught.
He was later handed over to the Police and an FIR has been lodged at Bunder Police station.
