Mangaluru: The A J Hospital and Research Centre has successfully held free health check-up camps over the past several years and thousands of patients have benefitted from these camps.
A free Diabetes Foot Check-up Camp will be held in A J Hospital from May 9-11, between 9 AM and 3 PM at the Out Patient Department on the II floor.
People suffering from the following problems can benefit from the camp
* Diabetes
* Unhealed wounds in the leg
* Change in colour in the foot and fingers of the leg
* Hardened areas in the feet
* Numbness or pain in the feet while walking
Dr. Shilpa R Mulki who is exclusively trained in all aspects of diabetes foot management will be available for consultation during the camp.
Registration and consultation is free. Blood test, pedobarography and biothesiometer check-ups may be availed at 25 percent discount.
