Mangaluru: An attempt to murder landed four people in cuffs after the Ullal police arrested them on Thursday, November 24. The arrested have been named by the police as Deekshith, Mahedh, Ravish and Sandesh.
According to police sources, the attempt to murder had a connection with an attack on a city bus the previous night at Talapady. Himad and Arif were the crew members of a particular city bus which runs between State Bank and Talapady. The duo was the one attacked on Wednesday night.
Police said the mob which attacked the duo was angered about the news that the latter were making friends with girls from a different community which led to the murder plot. Police are investigating and are on a look out for the other accused.
