Mangaluru: Professor Dr Norbert Lobo, an associate professor and HOD of Economics at St Aloysius College (Autonomous) passed away at a private hospital on Thursday, October 20. He was 57.
Professor Dr Norbert Lobo was the son of the late Eugene Lobo and the late Concepta Lobo, husband of Anita S M (Lecturer, Milagres College, Hampankatta) and father of daughters Anora Niomi Lobo and Anoma Nehel Lobo
Dr Lobo was teaching economics for the last 27 years and was also involved in career guidance, counselling and training.
A former president of the Association of Mangalore University College Teachers (AMUCT), he has also been vice-president of the All India Federation of University and College Teachers Organisation (AIFUCTO).
Funeral mass will be held at St Sebastian Church, Bendur on Saturday 22 October 2022 at 3:30 p.m
Public viewing will be between 2 pm and 3:30 pm at the Church premises.
