Drunk Man Enters Mosque in Mangaluru’s Millat Nagar

Mangaluru : A man named Hanumanth allegedly entered a mosque in Millat Nagar, Mangaluru, under the influence of alcohol yesterday. Law enforcement was promptly notified, leading to his apprehension by the police.

The incident took place within the jurisdiction of Kavoor Police Station limits. Hanumanth, originally from Bagalokot, had recently relocated to Mangalore for labor work and had been residing in the area for the past 20 days.

While inside the mosque, members of the public recorded a video showing Hanumanth in a drunken state, speaking incoherently, and reportedly using objectionable language. Subsequently, the police took him into custody, and a case was registered at Kavoor Police Station under Sections 447, 295, and 295(A) of the Indian Penal Code related to the incident. Authorities are currently investigating the matter further.
