Mangaluru: ‘Electrical Point’ – a household name for decorative lights and electrical accessories in coastal Karnataka is all set to celebrate its 15th anniversary on November 27, 2015.
‘Electrical Point’ was started small on November 27, 2000 at Falnir, Mangaluru at a space of about 300 sq. ft. This firm supplied decorative lights and fans according to the needs and taste of its customers. As the years rolled by, the business flourished necessitating a bigger showroom. On May 17, 2004, the showroom had been shifted to Essel Chambers, Karangalpady, Mangaluru to an area of about 700 sq.ft. As customers response grew, it extended the showroom to over 2000 sq.ft.
On May 19, 2012, the Mangaluru showroom was shifted from Karangalpady to the new premises at Kadri Road, opposite Sujir CV Nayak Hall near Bunts Hostel to a 3 storied building ‘Electrical Point Complex’. This Complex has a total area of about 15,000 sq. ft. With this, the state of art showroom ‘Electrical Point’ stands tall in Karnataka in the field of decorative lights.
‘Electrical Point’ has customers from Kasargod to Goa and from Shimoga, Chikmagalur and other districts. To facilitate to the needs of customers from the northern parts of Coastal Karnataka, Electrical Point started a state of art new air-conditioned showroom at Regal Entry Building, near Karavali Circle Udupi on October 26, 2009 consisting about 4000 sq.ft.
Popular brands of chandeliers, decorative lights and fans both from India and abroad are available in large quantities in ‘Electrical Point’ showrooms at Mangaluru and Udupi for residential houses, auditorium, places of worship and other premises both for indoor and outdoor requirements at reasonable rates. ‘Electrical Point’ always extends a cordial invitation to anyone who constructs his/her dream house or other type of building anywhere from Kasargod to Goa before the purchase of decorative lights and fans just to have a glance at its huge collection and to verify the rates.
