Mangaluru: Five police officers serving in Dakshina Kannada have been selected for the Chief Minister’s Medal of 2020.
115 police officers have been selected for this prestigious CM’s award. Among five from Dakshina Kannada, Praveen Rai of Puttur under Uppinangady police station, Sampath Kumar B of Bajpe, Nayana, Mangalore South police station of the district police technical division, Sujan Shetty of Mangalore North police station, and Abdul Jabbar of CCB Mangalore are the proud recipients of this year’s honour.
The Chief Minister’s Medal is given every year. It is one of the prestigious recognition for the police officers in the line of duty.
