Mangaluru: A former RSS man has filed a complaint at the Human Rights Commission against BJP State president B S Yeddyurappa and Mangaluru MP Nalin Kumar Kateel for making controversial comments.
N Hanumegowda had filed a complaint with the police on Saturday but no FIR was registered against BSY and Kateel. Hence he filed a complaint with the Human Rights Commission and has urged them to take immediate action against both.
It may be recalled that following the death of RSS activist Sharath Madiwala in Bantwal, BSY had said that ‘if anyone touches Kalladka Bhat whole Karnataka will burn.’ Hanumegowda said that it was a controversial comment which would further escalate tension in the communally sensitive areas. He had also urged the Vidhana Soudha police to take action against the BJP leaders.
