Kasargod: A four -year-old child died after falling into a pond at Paadi of Chelkkar in Kasargod.
The deceased has been identified as Swathi, daughter of Kamalaksha, a resident of Munnad.
Reportedly, this incident occurred, while the girl was playing along with children in her grand mother’s residence. As soon as the girl fell into the water, the locals who gathered near the pond, took out the girl from water and rushed her to hospital in Kasargod, but they couldn’t save her.
Vidhyanagara Police have registered the case.
