Gold Found in the Mangalore International Airport Washroom

Customs Officials Seize Gold Worth Rs 45.92 Lakh at International Airport

Mangaluru: Customs Officials at the Mangalore International Airport were in for a rude shock when they found 733 grams of gold in one of the airport’s many washrooms. 

The gold, which was worth an amount of Rs 45,44,500 was in the paste form was stuffed inside a black pouch and hidden in the drainage of the washroom. 

This is a clear act of smuggling and the police are now looking into the matter through an investigation.
