Mangaluru: BJP has asked Rachana Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry to help the 270 Christian families in Jeppu Compound, Mangalore instead of engaging in politics.
Addressing a press meet, BJP District Spokesperson Jithendra Kottari, on March 19 said, “Rachana Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry on March 18, had organised a programme on ‘Present Development of Politics.’ Though the organisation has members of various political parties, it has given opportunity only for Congress leaders to take part in the programme. Instead of involving in politics let them help the 270 families in Jeppu Compound to solve their land issue.”
He also said that the banners displayed to welcome Yogi Adityanath to the city were removed quickly by the MCC officials. “Why are the officials not showing the same urgency to remove the banners displayed to welcome Rahul Gandhi despite the deputy Commissioner’s orders to remove unauthorised displays?”, he questioned.
