Belthangadi: A student died in a road crash after a car rammed into his bike from the rear at Aladka near Aladangadi on March 19.
Sachin (18), studying in the first year BSc at SDM College, Ujire is the deceased. He is the son of Sudhakar Hegde, a resident of Hosmaru Eedu Cross.
The victim suffered serious head injuries. He was immediately taken to a government hospital in Belthangadi and later to Mangaluru for further treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed en route.
A case stands registered at Venur Police Station.
