Kasargod: A Madrassa teacher has been held by the Kasargod police for allegedly harassing a seven-year-old students.
The accused is 37-year-old Abdul Majeed Lathief from Vijayadka of Anekallu in Manjeshwar.
It is said that the man used to harass the kid on her way to the school. The teachers of the school who saw that the girl was weeping in the school probed and found out the shocking fact.
The matter was immediately brought to the notice of the the Childline.The police who nabbed the culprit, forwarded him to medical examination and produced him before the court.
He has been remanded to judicial custody.
